Introductions - Hi, I'm Chloe<3

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hello, my name is Chloe, I live in Deer Valley Arizona. Just saying hi. If anyone would help me find a new bike I would be thankful, I've been searching the internet but ugh, I can't find anything I like. I just want to go riding in the wind, enjoy myself, ya know? I will be more specific if anyone is interested in helping me. Thanks and hello again.<3

Do you have any idea what kind of riding you'd like to do? Road? Mountain? What kind of budget?
Welcome to BF!

Thanks! Err...I have no idea. That's why I am in love with this forum because everyone knows so much. I want something not too flashy, simple, vintage, with a basket, really fun sort of 60's-like maybe. Enduring also so I can ride it anywhere, forest, sidewalk. pretty but nice. Budget, probably not over $600, I'm requesting it as a Chritsmas gift from my parents. It's all I want.
I really like this bike but I don't live in the area its sold. I want something like it at least, I just have no idea where to look.
Here it is:

You know, I think you're looking for something like a Schwinn Continental or Varsity...or perhaps a mixte style?

Look at #212 in particular.

These are vintage bikes...each one is unique.
If you visit the Classic & Vintage forum, you will see bikes listed on CraigsList...here's one in your area (you would have to provide the basket, though :) ):

What do you think?

That's great! I never even knew of that site, also browsing the Classic & Vintage section, I'm bound to find what I'm looking for. So helpful, thanks so much! (:

You are quite welcome!
Even if that bike's not quite what you want, you should be able to find something perfect with a bit of patience.
Just ask us in C & V, we'll be happy to give you advice if you need it :) .
