Hi all,

I hope this is long enough for me to enter the long distance forum!!!

Tomorrow morning I am heading off on my longest one day ride. I will ride 140 miles tomorrow and since its a "there and back" and my family is car-free Im pretty darn sure I will make it as I will have no choice once I get half way!!

I'm doing this as an experiment since my dads farm is 150 miles away. I have never ridden all the way to their house and while I know I could make it I want to see if I would feel like riding it back a couple days later.

I will report how it went when I get back.

Good luck! Yeah, with no back-up "SAG" vehicle, you might find more motivation to finish!

I made it and everything went great.

No problems. My left knee has some pain which leads me to believe that my bike fit still is not dialed in from when I bought my new bike in January.

Perhaps simply overuse. This was your longest ride ever.
