I'm modifying my Dual Cross 300 to Cree Q5s not sure if will work as the controller board maybe incompatible.

You wouldn't alter the bulbs per se, you would have to desolder the LED, and put in a new one which you can order from www.dealextreme.com

You would be looking for a Cree XR-E star, P4, or Q5

I'm just waiting for the cree Q5 led stars to get to me. I'm hoping changing both the led stars will give me 300-400 lumens in total at 1000ma, which is a pretty cool upgrade for USD 20.00, that is if it works.
