Winter Cycling - Balaclava or winter skull cap for large heads?

My hat size is a 7-3/4. That translates to about a 24 inch circumference noggin.

Anyway, I'm trying to find a skull cap or balaclava made for large heads. So far all the ones I have seen are "one size fits all". ha. what a joke.

I tried this one:

but it was uncomfortably tight.

Portis in spot-on there. Lou has made a majority of my winter cycling clothing.
Why not just stop in at an REI, Sports Authority, Dunhams, etc and try some on instead of relying on the internet? My first balaclava I purchased when I weighed almost 400lbs (below 300 now) so you could say I had a pretty big head, and it fit me loose at the time. Cost me less than $20 at REI and I'd still be using it if I hadn't "undergrown" it.

If your wearing a cycling helmet you may find that you don't need a hat at all if you can cover the vents in the helmet for winter.

Look at your helmet size in centimeters and give it to him. It worked for me. I can't wait to try mine when it gets cold. The Power Dry shirt that I just got kept me warm and dry last night in conditions that I would have either been cold and dry or hot and sweaty before.

If you think a powerdry shirt is warm you should check out the 300 weight powerstretch shirt he made for me.
This morning on my way home from work it was 38 DEGF and that was all I had on my torso, I had to stop and remove my thin first layer shirt and unzip the powerstretch one in order to cool down about 3 miles into my commute home.

I just use a snow helmet. For some reason they're sized bigger than the dinky bike helmets.
