Shop #1,Diamondback Comp, $600.00 bike felt good, didn't care for SRAM shifters
FELT Q720, $700.00 out the door, list is $829.00, I like this bike but not sure if it fits, it is
18", shimano XT I am 6' with 32' inseam. Owners are almost like family, bought my FELT
road bike and my Diamondback here.
Shop #2 Cannondale F6,$499.00 sweet bike, fit was good, no real complaints except maybe Alevio?
TREK 4500, $530.00 haven't rode this bike yet, dealer is bringing in a 19.5" for me to ride this
weekend, the TREK has DEORE .I bought my wifes Townie from this dealer.

I have been a roadie and I love my FELT F90, I am moving up from a Diamondback Wildwood, not sure where to go from here, I am going to give the FELT one more ride, I really liked the Cannondale and am looking forward to riding the TREK.
Any help or advice, I will decide and buy something this weekend.

If the ONLY thing you are unsure about the Felt is the Sram shifters, maybe ask IF they can swap out to Shimano for a cheap price. Are they the gripshift? I know my first mtb had them, but I quickly found I loved the Shimano rapidfire on my then new bike.

I would go with the Cannondale or the Felt. Personally I believe in all the dollar vote jazz, so if the shop owners are like family at the first shop I would try to support them.

I ride an 18" GT and I am 5'10" so that does sound small to me but the price sounds good and if it feels right you should be good to go. I rode a 16" last weekend @ Wisp and after getting used to the bike it felt fine
