I'm returning to road cycling. I've a Cannondale R2000 Caad4 Team Saecco all Ultegra Rig with only # miles on it! I would like to get a WIRELESS computer with Cadence.

The shop suggested Shimano "Flight Deck." My qustions :

1) Are there any other wireless computers with the cadence mode available?

2) Can anyone provide feedback regaerding their accuracy - ease of use & satisfaction?

I sincerly appreciate any feedback! Thanks!

Vetta V100, V100A (with altitude and thermometer), V100HR (with HRM). The FlightDeck is cheaper though but doesn't measure cadence directly. It derives it by interfacing with FlightDeck compatible brifters and knowing what gear you're in along with your wheelspeed. This means that if you're freewheeling/coasting then your indicated cadence will be wrong. Someone posted in another thread (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?s=&postid=300965) about their experiences with the Vetta computer.

I think the Sigma Sport BC 1600 is a good one. It can be used wired or wireless with a wired sensor for the cadence function. I've found it to be very accurate, easy to read, and reliable.
