I just took my new toy out for a spin. Gary fisher Rig.

It's awesome. I didn't have time to do any single track, but the claremont hills wilderness park loop was more fun than I've had on a bike in a while.

First 29er, first SS. Not sure if it was the new tires or the big wheels, but the thing went right where I told it to. Feels much more connected/attached to me than the superlight.

Nothing like big wheels and big tires on dirt. Sweet ride. Did they fix the issue with the cracking seat tube?

Nope! this is an 05, so I've got the issues. I got a zion frame at the jenson sale, and I plan on switching everything over. Eventually. when it's not too much fun to ride to loose for a couple days worth of construction.
