Hello,

I am a long time cyclist, who started on bmx bikes (and a little racing) while a pre-teen, moved into mt. bikes as soon as i could get my hands on one in 1985 (raced a bit again). Then last year, (after many different bikes, and varations is ride time over the years) I started riding one of my hardtail mt. bikes on the road with slicks and realized I was missing some serious fun.

So I am now a newbie roadie. I currently ride an EPX 303, currently with Tiagra components (first road bike..) and have learned more about myself and cycling that I ever have in my life!

I am looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say about components, equipment and fitness.

Ride on!

Another one gets converted! ;) Welcome to the wonderful world of road biking- I'm a newbie on the bike too- I'm working on getting rid of the hybrid I have and getting a nice road bike in place. The call of the road is strong, my son.... ;)

Glad to see you here on the forums!

Hiya! I live about 40 miles west of Olympia, in the small podunk town of Aberdeen. :D

I haven't been to Seattle for a loooooooong time. I remember hanging out at the Kingdome as a teenager after school :D
