That's the noise it makes when I pick up the bike by the stem and drop it from 3 inches up.
I have a sinking feeling that I messed up when I put the headset back together. I don't actually know what headset is on it; something made by Cane Creek.
It's a 2002 Cervelo Prodigy if that helps. I emailed Cervelo to ask if they had any info on the headset already.
If I push or pull up and down on the handlebars I do not feel any play in the head tube/fork, but that doesn't mean there isn't any. Maybe there is a tiny bit; I couldn't tell if I was imagining it or not.
Any help would be appreciated.
