I'm shopping for a new helmet. Looking primarily at the Bell Alchera, but I'm curious about the Specialized helmets with that big air "intake" across the brow.

Does that thing really work?

Brow sweat is my main problem with my helmets. It eventually saturates the front of the helmet and starts dripping all over the place. If that intake helps cool me better, to stave off saturation for a few more miles...it could be worth it.

Cheers!

Specifically, which Specialized helmet are you referring to??

Sorry...

Aurora is more in my budget. There's also Propero and Decibel that have that brow located square "intake".
