So, being as winter is coming right up, I'm thinking about replacing the seat pad on my EZ Sport. The foam is getting tired and I seem to be riding on the plywood base again. Yuk. Some of you have supracor pads, and I would appreciate your long term use comments/reviews. bk

Hello:
get yourself a Rans standard grey foam and cover,it's a lot more firm than the stock one for your bike,
i use it on all of my bikes and i'm not a lightweight, i'm a "FOG"

Supracor will last for years, can be washed with hot soapy, water, isn't degraded by UV light and is supremely comfortable. The company that makes it doesn't seem to sell directly to consumers and the stuff is expensive. It costs about $34/sq. foot at wholesale times a 50% markup from the place I buy mine.

The reason I'm asking is that, all of a sudden, I seem to have recumbutt all the time. I refoamed the seat at a local foam shop, ($12.00) and it hasn't improved the situation much. I bought a replacement stock seat base, and it's not that great either. My fear is that I may have to give it up altogether. But I love this bike and it really keeps the weight under control. So dropping the moolah may be in the picture. Online, it looks like $299-375.00, depending on which pad you get. If you have a cheaper source, I'd sure like to know. bk
