I'll be in the Flemington, NJ area for a couple of weeks in this best time of year, the middle of October. Are there any bike paths/routes in that area?

There is a token bike lane near the traffic circle, but I don't recommend riding in Flemington. Way too busy. If you go west on Rt 12 to Frenchtown, there is a path along the Delaware and Raritan Canal, you can go south for quite a few miles. It's gravel/dirt, flat and great for casual riding. West and south of Flemington there are a lot of good roads for road biking.

Are you looking for road riding or tow-path riding? If you have access to a car, you can head out 202 west to Lambertville and ride along the Dealaware River canal path. Ride north from Lambertville through Stockton and Frenchtown for some really nice views as the leaves begin to change. It shouldn't take more than 15 or 20 minutes by car to get from Flemington to Lambertville.
