I'll be in North Carolina on September 20th and 21st for the MS 150 Ride to the Beach. I'm already planning on a 4 day trip and was thinking of extending it one additional day to squeeze in some mountain biking. I'll be staying with my bro in Charlotte and was wondering if anyone could recommend some local trails that wouldn't require a long drive. Any other advice or recommendations would be appreciated too.

the wood run mountain bike trail system in the uwharrie national forest looks awesome, and its not to far from charlotte.

Yeah i just started riding again but i cnt find anyplaces withing riding distance from charlotte i dnt have a car yet and my bike is my life id like to take it further, the link dsnt work anymore if anyone kows anything about trrails in charlotte please and thnk u
