Orrville Cross Starts Oct. 14
OrrvilleCross is scheduled for 4 consecutive Sundays beginning October 14, and will take place on both the "traditional" Orr Park Wetlands Complex course and a brand-new course at The University of Akron Wayne College campus (Home of The Milk Race).

Dates, Locations & Driving Directions:
*Sunday October 14 - Orr Park Wetlands/Walking Trail Course
*Sunday October 21 - Orr Park Wetlands/Walking Trail Course
*Sunday October 28 - Wayne College campus
*Sunday November 4 - Wayne College campus

Registration begins at 12:30
C-race - 30 minutes - 1:30 pm
B-race - 45 minutes - 2:15 pm
A-race - 60 minutes - 3:15 pm
Masters 35+ - 60 minutes - 3:18 pm

New for this year is a Series Points Championship with cash or merchandise awards.

So how did today's race(s) go? What's the best way to get there from Ashland OH?

First race was small, but we were compeating agaist 2 other races in the area. (one mt bike and on cross race that was added to the scheduleat a later date then ours, its also part of a point series and they refused to resheddule theirs)

I think last year we averaged about 40-50 people per race

So how did today's race(s) go? What's the best way to get there from Ashland OH?

Yesterdays race went great, but like I said low turnout for reasons stated in my other response. Course was very dry and very fast its a 1.4 mile course and I know the a race was turning in lap times in the low 5 minute area.

Do you know your way around Orrville at all? The course we will be using this coming weekend is the same as last. Its just down the street from the high school. The 2 after that will be at Wayne collage (our new course). It is also where we stage the Milk Race from.
If you want/ need better directions let me know and I will give them to you
