Recently got a Forerunner 305 to use for running and of course biking. So far so good except for trying to enter any information in the Time and Pace screen under Quick workouts: any entry results in the unit shutting off.
Garmin Tech support is perplexed and we have tried everything from a hard reset to ensuring that my settings are the same as some of their units. This has happened to 9 out of 10 units we bought and only in that screen.
All software and firmware is updated. The folks at Garmin have even duplicated it in one of their units and have no explanation as to why the unit shuts off only in that screen.
While I realize that that screen is geared for runners I was hoping that maybe someone has experienced anything similar in any other screen whether it's running or biking and if so how did it get fixed.
