Foo - Adventures of JSharr's Ball in GA

Ok..here's the story of the ball in GA so far....at least after I got my grubby little hands on it:D

First off, I met up with SIF at the mall in Alpharetta.
She had her two daughters with her, and all three were a pleasure to meet.

After the introductions and a little chatting, we went to the indoor carousel to let her youngest daughter ride the Carousel, and of course ball had to get into the action:

From there, we parted ways...I had to move onto the bike shop to pick up an aero bar.
So, SIF officially handed off the ball to me...mwahahahahaha!

So..I'm on my own...and I remember Ball likes pirates, and well, here's what the mall had to offer:

That satisfied the balls pirate fetish, so off to Performance.
Ball has a thing for green bikes it would appear.
First bike it tried to get me to buy was this roadie:

On tap for tomorrow...either a 40 miler on the silver comet or a hike in the Chattahoochee National Forest.
We're playing it by ear at this point.

Consider hiking up blood mountain. It's a great day hike, it can be a little rough for those not in shape but the views from the top are worth it.

eh...last time I went up Blood Mountain, me and my freinds took a bunch of alcohol and hot dogs for dinner. My dinner did not stay down through the night, and I was still drunk the next day...not fun trying to get back down when you are somewhere between blitzed and hung over.

Like, "Way down yonder on the Chatahoochee, it gets hotter than a hoochie koochie?" (good lord, I'm quoting Alan Jackson lyrics... kill me now...)

BTW, Yellow/Purple Ball is in transit to Utah. Maybe there will be a thread from there pretty soon!

Some guy here in Foo'ville mailed out a bunch of these foamy balls to some people. They had their way with the balls and sent them on to fellow foo'ers. Now I'm doing the same.

we had so much fun. my eldest is working on her teen ennui, but hellion and i tend to be rather kinetic. mv hung in like a champ. what a sweetie.

see, mv...i had thought about snapping some shots in the victoria's secret store, but you came off as such a gentleman i didn't dare suggest it. silly me.

i've got some pix as well...will post asap!

It was a pleasure meeting you, and maybe we can get that cup of coffee someday. I'm still trying to understand how I went to the mall, and did not end up with a starbucks in my hand...that has never, and I mean never happened before since they put starbucks in that mall.

He did...but as the story goes...Jsharr mailed a bunch of balls as packing material for a CD he sent Eboo.. Eboo thought up this little game during another thread discussion...and redistributed them all around the country... Hence Jsharr's balls references...:)
