Classic & Vintage - Decals ?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I just recently aquired two old Schwinns. One is a varsity with 24" wheels and of unknown vintage as of yet, the other is a '79 Super Le Tour II. They are in poor/fair condition respectively. I know they may never be worth a lot of money but I plan on bringing them back to nice, rideable condition, so first I plan on tearing them down and repainting them. So my question is, where can I find decals (preferrably cheap) to put back on them after painting? They don't have to be perfect but I'd like them to be close to original.
Thanks in advance,
Noloft
You MAY be able to find a bicycle painter/restorer who is willing to make and sell decals for a homebrew paint job. However, I believe most restorers do decal work only in conjunction with a paint job, and you understandably may not want to spend that kind of money on either of your Schwinns.

Keep an eye on eBay as the decals pop up quite often. Here is a set of downtube decals for a Varsity that cover quite a few years.

Send the serial number of the Varsity to confirm the date.
Memory Lane used to have a lot of Schwinn decals, you might check with them ...
