Hello , Well let me start by saying I'am torn this week I will be able to purchase a new bike and don't really know what to get well I do but here are my option's 07 Specialized Stumpjumper ,07 Gary Fisher Hi-Fi Deluxe,08 Gary Fisher Hi-Fi Deluxe or an 08 Gary Fisher Hi-Fi Pro does anyone out there have any input are these good choices and should I buy from my LBS prices range from 1900.00 - 2800.00 ??? or is online a better option. Thx in advance.

You won't find those bikes online.

I don't know much about Gary Fisher. However, I think 07 Specialized Stumpjumper is a good starter bike. A friend of mine bought it this year and it has worked out good.

the 08 fishers have a weird offset fork, so don't plan on changing the fork on those.

Stumpy, but I'm biased coz I own one ('06)...

EDIT*

My opinion regarding comparisons is virtually useless since I've never ridden a Fisher.

But, if you want a light bike that screams uphill like a leaf in the breeze and you don't mind your sexy paintjob being chipped by the power of an ant's fart, look no further.

The Fisher bikes are cheaper on every comparable trim to the Stumpy. I do like the frame design of the 07 Stumpy better though.

Hey sup guy's well I decided to go w/ the 08 stumpy what a difference from my 10yr old mongoose WoW!
when I fig. out how to post pic's I will and btw thanks for your input. ~D
