depends on the event, wikipedia the following....

world 1000m TT champion

world 1000m sprint champion

world keirin champion

world 4000m individual/team pursuit champion/s

world Madison champions

Gent 6-Day winners

this should give you a pretty good idea.

I might be looking in the wrong place, but nothing on wikipedia gives body measurements.

but it might give you pictures...

There's also a paper out there somewhere from the Australian Institute of Sport that gives BMI of elite riders vs. event length for the track. I'm smack at the transition between kilo rider and pursuiter, but if I trained a lot would fall into pursuiter unless I lifted a lot of weights.

I wouldn't worry about what height or weight you are.

At amateur level, training > genetics.

Probably ;)

I'd be interested in that austrialian paper if you can find it. I'll give it a search too.

There's a copy of it posted at Fixedgearfever-- it's the top paper on this page. (http://www.fixedgearfever.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=3)

you may have to register to get to the downloads page.
