Hello,
I am trying to educate myself about how to purchase a new bike that will be compatable with my 6'4" height. This is turing out to be something of a pilgrimage into the wilderness as I travel from website to website of bike manufacturers I see nothing above 25" inch frames.
My previous bike (stolen last Tuesday, alas) was the largest bike I have ever seen outside of a circus - I bought it used and the manufacturer's name had been worn off along with the paint job, but a remarkably sturdy bike of enormous proportions - close to 30 inches.
Question: some manufacturers boast frame size, whereas others boast of large wheel size. Does this make a difference from someone of my size? I'm at a bit of a loss and would appreciate any education on the matter that anyone has to offer.
Best regards, JBaker.
