Well as most of you all know I got married AGAIN this past weekend. Was legally hitched back on June 1st, this was the big formal party and party it was. We had 144 of 150 guest show up, which filled the rooms real nice. Other then the weather unzipping some rain on us, it was perfect. The outdoor venu was changed to indoor, which looked great for a last minute alteration. The day went by FAST, I went from watching my bride come down the walkway to, eating whatever I can, to having her shove some cake in my face (no I didn't get her back) to dancing and BAMM it's over. My family and friends had a GREAT time, I'm sure I'll hear lots of stuff when I go back to work later this week. My wifed loved every minute of it, made working that extra job well worth it plus some.

Here are some teasier pics my friend took

Sunday was a busy day I had planned for the two of us and ending with dinner at her Auntie's house in Chula Vista. Spent 2 hrs getting her this as her wedding gift from me:D2008 Scion xB:eek:

Bigger and more space then my last one with more power.

The proceeded to get my lil something for myself

an 07' Bianchi Via Nirone, alum frame with CF rear seat stays, Ultegra/105 mix, standard cranks too:eek: Size 55, yah it's smaller then my other one and I like it. Tried the 57 and felt somewhat like my Felt, a lil too streched out and not very aero. I'm a tall guy some I'm a like a sail out there. The smaller bikes allows me to lower my back into a more aero position. This new bike lowers my upper body by about 4" and I have long arms and flexable enough to do so. On the hoods of the new bike is a lil higher then being in the drops of my old bike. The guys at the shop was about my height and was insiting I get a bike close to 58, after some talk about what I was looking for (smaller bike with maybe a longer stem) I asked him to pull the 55 down and size me up. Seat high, bars low (simular to my XC MTB) and took her for short spin on the coast. Was quick to learn how to use the new shifter (coming from SORAs) and took off. Did a few handling drills, this bike is a bit twitchy, but shorter head tube and also about 4lbs lighter then my other one so I just need to get used to it. Did some speed burst and low gear to reving the upper gears with all good feed back. Can't wait to get a real ride on it later today if it doesn't rain. I really want to see how it does on the hills, and I how I do with the new cranks.

Don't worry, Jeff - it happens to the best of us. Practice makes it all better . . . :p

Congrats on the wedding, new car, and new bike!!

Congrats Jeff! And look how handsome you are when you're not covered in dirt! :p ;)

BTW, are you sure that new car is for her?! It looks suspiciously like something that could transport your new bike! :D

Thank you:)

Yup that car is for her, I bought my car few months ago. Though I can throw the new bike in the new car without having to take off any wheels which I wasn't able to do on my 06 xB. Maybe for those long trips up to GMR, I may snag the wifey's car:p

YES SIR, the Bianchi has 105's for brakes and I can feel the difference and that was on the flats. I still owe you for hooking me up:D

I got my first ride on my roads with the new bike, but was a short 9 miles Out and back up a hill. The CF stays are SMOOTH, the road is pretty old and banged up, on my Felt I'd feel ever crack in the road. On the bianchi, it seemed to float over the cracks and small bumps. The shifting was smooth, the bike felt light, took off quick and climbs pretty good. Still getting used to the gearing while climbing since I gone from 8spd to 10spd. I've adjusted the fit last night when i got home, seems to feel better then the test ride @ the shop. I need to lower he seat a lil more and I think I'll be set. One the hoods felt really comfy, down in the drops meant business. Got a top speed of 38mph on the small DH, felt fast and smooth. Hit a small bump on the DH which sent the shock up through to seat causing me to lift my ass a lil, made me think like I had rear suspension like the MTB. I'll just have to watch that on the DH. can't wait to get a longer ride on it, not a 30 minute joy ride:D

Thanks ME!!!!

Both her car and bike were much needed upgrades. She's really happy about her car, though she's making me drive like usual:rolleyes:
