So I just bought a new/used bike and found the brake lines & handles are backwards, meaning the front brake is on the right. This isn't going to work for me.

Can I just swap the lines and be done with it, or will I have to bleed the lines? Thanks.

you should be able to flop them over and use them on the other side then, without disconnecting any lines. just slide the levers off and put them on the opposite side! You could E-mail Hayes for confirmation but I'm sure their resivours are turnable.

It's disc brakes.

There's nothing wrong with running the moto style.

Your right, there is nothing wrong with running moto style, except my other two bikes are setup standard. I can easily envision going over the handlebars, not really something I'm looking for.

You know I had a set of brakes like this that were'nt floppable (shimano), and I thought the same thing. But once on the trail, I realized it wasn't an issue since I didn't usually lock up the brakes anyway.

I've thought about swapping my brakes to the Front/ Right, but I've been riding both motorcycles and bikes a long time and have never had a mixup. I like having the rear on the right for brake locked slides :-)
