...as a 26" wheel Mtb. Tourer. I'd want to change out the fork for a LHT 26" fork and change the color. I'm not sure what the measurements are b/c they are not listed on the website. Any thoughts?

Reynolds 520 and 4130 tubes, loads of braze ons (bottle brazes under the down tube for heaven's sake), even a place for spare spokes. Where ya gonna go?

I hear you on the fork. Rack braze ons would be nice up there. I kind of like the horrible John Deere color scheme. Steel frame. Looks pretty nice, and the price isn't bad. Though, if I were building a mountain style tourer, I think I could find an old steel frame for about a fifth of the price, and that would leave me more funds for the build. I think you would lose the spoke holder and the third bottle braze-on but that would be okay with me. It's for what YOU want though, not me. What do YOU think about it?

To be honest, I'm just bored at work, goofing around looking at frames online, came across this one and my mind started wondering, thinking of another bike.:D If they sold the frame or if I could find the frame w/o the fork for a lower price, I'd build one. :)

Ha ha...but the price tag keeps making me do this --->:eek: But you are right, the nomad is what I really want and I've been saving. Either way, I wanted to put this frame out there for others to see if they are thinking 26" tourer. I know the the LHT is 26" 54cm and smaller, but not everyone can ride those and this one is a little different.
