My bikes range from 19 pounds to 42 pounds and they all have their uses... the 19 pound road bike is great for high speed assaults and the 42 pound Raleigh Superbe 3 speed is my Sunday going for tea bike.
My primary commuters are both fixed gear bikes... one is a 23 pound road bike and the other is a 31 pound mountain bike.
