Hi All
Reading a review on vanilla forks, someone comment they find the fox recommended spring too soft and to go for the one heavier.

Anyone else experience this?

Mine came with a yellow (too soft for me). Im 210lb and considering getting the Red 220-240lb spring.

it depends on your riding style. Lots of people like softish springs for the negative travel. xc/roadies usually like it a bit stiffer for pedalling efficiency.

That said at 210, you are right on the cusp, moving up to the heavier springs will be good.

My Vanilla came with all 3 spring weights. They don't do that anymore? You'll be much happier with the heavy spring.

interesting dilemma. I find my fork oversprung. I wonder if RST makes aftermarket springs that I can switch out... :D

I ride the 36 Van and for me I found the stock spring (the ones I "should" be using) too soft but luckly mine came with 3 springs so I just put in the heavy one and was good to go.
