I was just on my Ford F-150 site. I was lurking and came across a posting. It was some guy in Mississippi talking about a guy on a road bike. Seems this roadie ran this truck off the road, coming into the intersection, the bike just took the trucks lane and ran him off. then the cyclist grabbed a handgun out out his bag and pumped 10 rounds into the truck. Hten the biker started cussing and yelling at the trucker, hitting him and pushing him into the truck. The trucker, badly shaken, called the police and wanted to press charges. The police officer would not even look for the cyclist without a license plate number. The mississippi redneck said the worst thing was the bicyclist was in THIGHTS. I bet he felt violated.

Sounds like someone was really drunk, drove into a ditch, and needed to cover up for it with a wild-ass story.

Yes... a 20lb bike running a two-ton vehicle off the road. That makes sense.

For the record, no, I was not in Mississippi recently with my Peleton. If I had been, and carrying a gun that could take 10 rounds, it would have had a full 14 rounder in it.;)

Somebody needed an excuse for not making it home from the bar last night....so they made up some BS and probably shot holes in their own truck....would be my guess.

Sadly riding in some farm country areas... some of the drivers that have never seen a cyclist on the road(yeah it took me a long time to get that through my head) get really nervous! I almost ran a car into a ditch.... but not like the other story!! I used hand signals to say I was going right and she thought I was going left right in front of her... after she about ditched her car she yelled at me for a good amount of time!! I then explained to her hand signals and what they mean!!! After that she calmed down and apologized!!! She was a nice lady, just a bad experiance for her! I really had trouble not laughing!

and it was on HWY 6 between Sterling and Merino Colorado!

Obviously you still need some tactical training, Mich.

He probably HAD 14 rounds but wanted to save 4 in case the truck shot back! Or the guy in the truck....

Never go "winchester" unless you know the target is neutralized.
