I've never been a member of a club. I like riding in a paceline though and having others around is a great motivator. I'm too macho to turn around at 30 miles when I planned on riding 40, if there are others around.

Is anyone here a member? Has anyone ridden with them? Are the rides fun?

Anytime I'm home, that's who I ride with. The rides are great, did a 62-miler with Ken E. leading the way last I was there visiting my folks. Even though only 8 or so riders were in our group (rest of the group settled for the shorter 40 miler) it was awesome.

The only time I do not roll with the Wheelmen is when I tackle the Hills in Helotes on Tuesday afternoon/evening group rides.
