I opened a thread the other day on someone's wife wanting to by a car and how to deal with that. It was titled help- something about wife. I never got to read it and now I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know anything about that?
Summary: it train wrecked.

It got up to 4 pages last I checked. I got tired of reading it and stopped looking.

The last I was reading it was at ten or eleven pages... It was getting really ugly. Something about various body parts… people needing to be hit by trucks… :eek: and so many insults it was hard to know who was insulting who for a while there. Man that was a fun post to read… I miss it. :D Not really...

It was the usual point & counterpoint about the cost of car ownership, tradeoffs between spending & saving, and the question of car free living as a family. No new deep insights about any of those things, though. Plenty of hot rhetoric & uncompromising position taking.

I'm sure the first page or two were useful. But then after 2 pages just like every other thread on bike forums it probably became an argument. :lol:
