Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Oh boy, so I'm actually building my own bike right now (just one of those 90% assembled bikes that a dealer gets). It's going fantastic so far, I have everything mounted and attached. I just need to align the rear disc brake calipers (weird because they were installed at the factory), and make any adjustments to the derailleur's if need be (it's raining outside; I was able to do a quick test run but I haven't tried all the gears  ). But I've run into a little bit of a  because I have some extra parts left...
[Part 1] These are for the front forks as far as I know, and by the looks of them it seems these are used on bikes without disc brakes. But double check my analysis.
[Part 2] I have no clue where these go... By the size of the thread the screws screw into something plastic; I'm thinking these could be from my brake calipers, but I've double checked the schematic and there are no screws missing...

I think some of this stuff is just packaging -- stuff they put in the box as covers and protectors to prevent damage during shipment. I'm pretty sure the "s" hook is just garbage. The little disk in the second picture may be a cover for the bolt that holds the stem or top cap in place. The two bolts might screw into the braze-ons for the water bottle cage (these aren't usually black in color -- but I suppose they might be if the rest of the hardware on the bike is black). It might help if you put something common like a coin in the pictures to give some scale, and tell a little more about the bike itself - or include a picture.

Those top two items look like V-brake mounts to me, but it's hard to tell without some idea of size.

Yes, the two cylindrical items are brake bosses for mounting linear pull brakes. And I agree that the other items look like they have something to do with packaging. Or something my wife would use to hang a potted plant-
The "S" hook is just to keep your cables neat. It clips to two cab;e swhere they cross. I suppose it also keeps them from abrding at each other.

That plastic cap may be a cover to the allen bolt on your heatset; I've seen that before

Yep... standard fare.... The plastic cap DOES go on your stem cap. The S hook holds two cables together. The extra phillipps screws are for reflectors and those big bolts are brake bosses for linear pull brakes.
