Nifty editorial about the upcoming "re-inaugural" CM in Tucson, AZ.

(They paraphrastically quoted me, the Tucson High senior...)

Heh it seems 90% of reader comments are anti-cyclist. I guess this CM is off to a good start.
This is a good one:

"#35 - When confronted with the choice of crossing a double line and a possible head on collision, or hitting the bike rider illegally riding and that probably won't die because of it, it's an easy decision."

No choice to slow and wait I guess.

Haha yeah, there are some scary comments.

Tucson is consistently ranked as one of the best cycling city, yet there are so many jerks on the road on four wheels. I think only good will come from this (hopefully).

"#3- But no matter which side of the arguement you are on it is really STUPID for someone on a 70lb (at most) bike trying to take on a car."

I want to see this bike.

And, how do we get people to not view things in term of ideology? This shouldn't be one group v. another.

By being nice to one person at a time. That's about the most political statement you can make in this day and age.
