I'm searching for a moderately priced triple chainring gruppo, in silver. The gruppo need not be perfect, but I would prefer the mechanicals to be excellent with plenty of life. The bike I plan to build up came equipped with a Campagnolo Athena brakeset, so I'd prefer something along the lines of an early Athena gruppo or the like, or the more modern Athena version, or even Campagnolo "Racing Triple"/Veloce/Centaur.

I'd also consider a vintage Campagnolo gruppo from the '84/'85 period.

Also willing to take offers on any of the modern or vintage Shimano gruppos, though I'd prefer to avoid the painted late 80s/early 90s versions.

EDIT: As amended below, I need braze-on FD, and Italian thread BB 70 mm for thin tubed frame.

I'm looking primarily for crankset, braze-on front dérailleur, long cage rear dérailleur, and Italian thread bottom bracket.

I'd also consider shifters, though that may be out of my budget, so I may simply run with friction(!) downtube or barends.

Also, if you have some to offer, I'd consider an entire gruppo that includes a wheelset, 27.2 seatpost, and wide range cassette (the bigger the large cog, the better).

This is for an '85 Centurion Cinelli Equipe frame, so vintage is preferred, but I know road triples are more commonly available in modern gruppos. I may eventually upgrade, but I'm trying to get this on the road to test it out as economically as possible.

Thanks!
