Moved here a year ago from Anacortes, WA and am here for another year. That whole career progression thing.

I ride a Litespeed Tuscany road and Specialized Enduro off road.

I'm not anywhere near politically correct, drive a diesel hogging, road hogging pickup (it's for sale; I want a bigger one!) and prefer wearing flannel/chamois shirts (when it's not hotter than you know where around here - which is most of the year!), though I don't consider them dress shirts. I ski, fly airplanes and of course, bike but not nearly enough... drivers down here scare the heck out of me, even in my truck!

I've traveled quite a bit, been fortunate enough to ski lots of places in this country, Canada and Europe. I've biked in WA, UT, ID, CO, ME and TX.

How do you like me so far? :D

Welcome to Tx.! There is not a big population of politically correct people here in this state anyway so do not feel out of place. Also as I am sure you know already there are alot of big diesel trucks here as well. As a matter of fact I have a Ford F-350 Super Duty 4WD turbo diesel, and a 73 Ford F-150 with a big block 390 V8!
I am sure alot of forum people here LOVE this!
However I do own a bike shop and have almost too many rigs right now, and not enough time to ride them all. Anyway if you need some good trail locations let me know.

WELCOME!

To the forum and Arlington:beer:

Where do you ride around here? Was that picture taken at Dotty Lynn Park on West Green Oaks?

scuba - yep, sure was! I ride mostly the paved trails around here, though I did do a ride down by Joe Pool Lake a couple weeks ago. One of these days, I'll ride on some of the roads north and/or south of town, where everyone's not actively trying to kill me! Where in Arlington are you - I'm near UTA.

For off road, I've only ridden at Cedar Hill. I'm open to suggestions for where to go mtbing.

Hunter - must be nice, in a way at least, to have too many bikes to choose from! I like both of mine and don't really think I need any more. Well, OK, I could probably use a nice Ti hardtail for the riding down here....
