The Badass Challenge: Ride to the race and compete.
The Baddest Badass and current holder of The Purse #1 is Steven Carper. After his first race with the beginners at Alpenrose he decided to step up to C's AND take the Badass Challenge.
Here (http://www.crankmychain.com/2007/10/baddest-badass-takes-first-purse.html) is a video of the winner.

Having already done this once this year for my local race, I'll probably do it again, maybe even for the Nationals as they are only 10 miles away if I manage to get some results in the next couple of months.
Ha ha! That's awesome! And just WEARING that purse makes one a badass!
Totally a bad muther f--
Shut my mouth!
Will ride to all the local races. Not sure about riding to Richmond and back though!
Sorry, but all the races are over 50 miles from my house. I ain't that tough. I can do a century, but not with a race in the middle.
Yep, I ride to all of our local races (although sometimes with GF driving SAG because she likes to watch the CX races).
I think it's more of a function of my geographic location than my Badassness. It almost always pays to live in town rather than in the sprawl.
i'll be doing this in a week (most of our races are also past the 50 mile mark, but this one's in town).
plus i'll be wearing a pirate costume.
