When I was in Korea I ate sea snails. These were no escargot; these suckers were big as your fist. Well, you really only ate the foot and it was cooked.

Once, on a winter camping trip, we got lost, and I ate Jimmy. He was tasty, especially with the garnishes we picked up from the grocery store we had managed to wander into for warmth.

ahhhh...for a minute there I read that you ate timmy. Poor little timmy...he's already a cripple, then you went and ate him. Then I re-read...tiny tim's ok and still gonna get that operation that Mr. Scrooge promised to pay for. Whew!

Sometimes I melt ice cream in the microwave to make it a soupy mess before I eat it...not total liquid, but just mushy, melty, kinda warm goodness. Bonus if it's cookie dough ice cream, and the little pieces get slightly cookified.

I used to go to the Shoney's all you can eat breakfast bar and pile three plates full of bacon. Then I would just sit down and eat slice after slice.

Pretty gross now that I think about it.

Escargot (yum), fried grasshoppa, rattlesnake, etc -- I'm always open to try new things.

We used to have some awesome clambakes - how about a small pitcher full of raw clams - yummmmm.

As a matter of fact --- I have a hankerin for some raw oysters - think I'm getting some on my way home tonight.

I'll try anything once....seriously.

The first things that come to mind of foods I've tried:

Chicken hearts
Fried Frog Legs
Escargot
Turtle
Gator (not exactly rare in Florida)
I dip french fries in my chocolate frosty at Wendy's
Cow Tongue with cactus
Chocolate covered rice

I once had a Bulgarian girlfriend that made me fried calf brain. I refused to eat it. She was much nicer than her culinary appetite. ;)

I also hoard blueberries in season and freeze them to eat through out the winter.

I eat frosting.
Not on cake, or on cookies, or any other baked good transport medium.
Spoonfuls of frosting, right out of the container.

I've also ate raw meat...and lived....it was rather tasty actually.

I was on a diet once that allowed one cookie a day. I spent months coming up with a tolerable lo fat chocolate chip cookie. Use a cup of cottage cheese, and some buttermilk powder instead of butter.

Anyway, I would make up a batch, and spread it out on a pizza tin.

And after I cooked it I'd have my cookie. :D

Quality control has virtually eliminated one of my food secrets. The burnt potato chip has just about ceased to exist. I however, still look for it on a frequent basis.

I used to do this, but it didn't melt right so now I just leave it out for 1/2 an hour before eating.

Once when I worked on a sheep ranch we castrated the little boy lambs and then they coated them with flour, salt, pepper, and crushed saltines and then fried them up and I was told iI had to eat some if I wanted my paycheck. Tasted kinda like fried mushrooms.:D

how big of a fry kettle do you need for a whole ball-less boy lamb to fit in? The wool between the teeth had to be off putting as well. and why did you cut his balls off before cooking? homophobe?

I don't think this is a big deal but it makes my wife wacko. I like to fill one glass about half full of cereal and another half full of milk then eat the dry cereal and drink the milk. She bugs me every time to "Just put the two together in a bowl like normal people!" But she knows I'm not normal.

I'm not a fan of spray-cheeze, but Tostitos brand salsa con queso (processed cheeze gloop and salsa) is awesome!

As for other soft cheeses, I like Chimay Grand Cru which is a very soft, very ripe cheese with a beer-washed rind. A friend of mine said it smells like his running shoes after a distance day in the rain.
