That's nuts. One of the physics teachers where I am got arrested for allegedly killing his wife.

Closest thing to that which happened to me was I met one of my mom's college professors once, then later found out his wife narced him to the police for running a drug lab in his basement.

Apparently he was one of the largest suppliers of psychoactive drugs in the region....they literally needed to collect evidence for days from that house.

My friend had Bill Clinton as a prof in Law School and Hillary was her adviser. She also dated one of Sam Walton's sons. They're like the who's who of Arkansas.

I took a Pre-Calc class with a prof here, Dr. Wu, who is one of Steven Hawking's students. He goes to England every now and then to see Hawking. Dr. Wu is Chinese and he translates all of Hawkings books into Chinese. He also teaches math and physics classes.

Why is it a big deal for HIM to eat dinner at HIS house? I'll bet he does that all the time.

Monica Lewinski's father was a Doctor on the staff of the same hospital as my father.

Some interesting stories there.

Oh Ira, we hardly knew ye. Being a Philly guy, and a ugrad at Penn when Ira was in his heyday, and living through the whole sordid thing with Holly Maddux's body being found in a trunk in his apartment in Powelton Village, his departure to France, being tried in absentia, and his extradition back, I can tell you some interesting stories. He would have you believe that he invented Earth Day, which is sort of half-true. He was propped up by the press as some kind of hippie guru with magical powers. But most of us saw him for what he was.
