When measuring the width of your handlebars do you measure from the inside-inside or outside-outside?

Center of the round bar to the center of the round bar on the other side.

depends on the company....but i believe c-c is most common :eek:.

And some don't measure at the bar end, and the bars are flared, so the bar ends are wider than the bar width... :)

Various makers specify it differently with some as c-c and others as o-o. Some of the mail-order catalogs even state which bars are specified which way. BTW, as a good rule of thumb a c-c bar will be 2 cm wider than the same dimension o-o. For example, a 42 cm c-c bar will measure about the same as a 44 cm bar stated o-o.
