Some of you may have seen the following paragraph posted elsewhere. I haven't had much feedback so here it is again.
Help me out here folks. I'm in the perhaps enviable position of having to decide on one of these frames/forks. I'd appreciate any feedback you would care to share with me, either on the frame itself, or even the forks. Should I go to a carbon fork? Are the paint jobs comparable? FWIW, both frames are about the same price.
I'll be using the bike to commute (80km round trip), long road rides with a light set of wheels, as well as some off-road. I must confess that actual cyclocross racing is not in the cards. At least not yet. If it helps, I'm 5'8", weight is 137lbs, and I'll be buying a frame with a 54cm top tube.
