Greetings all, Looking to date a beautiful Colin Laing which I recently acquired. I assume (hope) that Mr. laing is still around but have had no luck contacting him. The frame has very ornate lugs and is outfitted with Campagnolo Nuovo record so it looks at first glance that it could be from the 70's. However a closer look reveals Columbus EL tubing, nearly vertical drop outs (no stamp), and a few other details that would indicate a much later time frame such as late 80's early 90's.
Can anyone in this forum help or comment about a Colin Laing contact or a Columbus EL date? Thanks and very best regards.

He's married -- and not much to look at, either -- so I think you're out of luck.
But if you want to ask him out anyway, try (480) 755-8869.

BTW, if that number doesn't work, you can contact the shop in Tempe that used to sell his stuff. They might know how to get a hold of him. 480-966-6896.

P.S. . . . and Colin can still out-bicycle and out-run most of us!
