I just downloaded Service Pack 2, yes I'm a little late, and I just previously downloaded a 330MB file (from that file I needed SP2) The thing is is that if I install SP2, will it completely rid of everything I have on my drive from pictures, to documents, to that 330MB file? Should I save all I need onto a CD or SD card? Thanks.

No, you're files & programs are safe. Just install SP2 and you're good to go. I would however shut down any running programs you have and put any anti virus/spyware stuff to sleep for the update as well. Turn it back on after re-boot and you're golden. :)

Ug. The game my friend sent me requires 1GB ram and 1.8Ghz. My comp only has 512mb ram and 800Mhz. When I played the game, it appeared laggy and not smooth, it took forever to move the cursor as it only skipped around and all. What can I do? Can I buy some ram and easily just plug it into my comp without having to disassemble it? If I did have 1GB ram, would I need a lot more Mhz?

Your processor is plenty fast enough 1.8Ghz=1800Mhz. RAM isn't a tough upgrade. Take the side panel off, verify you have an open slot and then refer to your MB manual to see what type of RAM to buy. Another stick of 512 should run you between $45 & $60 depending on where you buy it.

Buy a PS3 if you want to play games! :)

Yep, you need more of both. It sounds like your computer is old enough you're better off buying a new one than upgrading the old. Your graphics card is probably struggling, too.
