Damiano Cunego said this after winning today:
"I started my sprint in a very agile gear," Cunego recalled.
What's that? Is that just a weird translation, or something I've missed?

He means he started with a good jump. Witness in your next race how guys trying to sprint in their 11/12T from 29mph get beaten by juniors in their 15s.
I think "agile" is the perfect translation.
Starting from a gear you can get on top of quickly, yet still power away with force.
Snuffle said it well above too.
