Rear Wheel Sensor Computer

Looking for advice on new bike computer with rear wheel mounted sensor so I can log my miles on trainer, without having to buy an extra sensor and mount. I don't need cadence, altimeter etc., just the basics with auto start/stop. Have used a Nashbar "house" brand no frills unit, similar to the old Avocets, for 6 years and been very content. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks

+2 (does this make me a cycling "dittohead"?) :) You get cadence as a bonus.

Alternative: If the sensor wire is long enough, mount a regular bike computer on the rear wheel. If you are good with soldering or crimping the itty-bitty wire, lengthen the wire. I have not tried this and YMMV. I did try this with a wireless unit; the sensor range wasn't long enough to mount the computer on the handlebars :(

Cadence is actually nice to have on a trainer. Frankly, your total distance and MPH will always be zero on a trainer. Cadence and time are the only things I pay attention to on my trainer.

I've got a Blackburn Delphi 3.0 that has rear-wheel sensor plus also has cadence. Works great on the road or on the trainer. $39.00 at REI.

They also make the Delphi 2.0 ($29.00) w/o cadence. I think this is also a rear wheel sensor, but don't know that for certain.
