Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - draft feature for composing new posts

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I think it'd be great to be able to write and save a draft of a new post before officially submitting/posting it. This would be especially helpful for complicated/creative posts with lots of text or links, which sometimes would be nice to finish in more than one session.

I usually do that in notepad and save it locally - since ya never know when that 20 min post gets lost in the interwebs by a 'Server is busy' notice ;)

groan....yes the 'server is busy'.

However, I have seen the ability to save posts as drafts as a feature elsewhere. MyBB offers this.
