I have been having a heck of a time trying to order an e-bike motor kit and battery. Every place I wanted to buy from seemed to be out of stock or just not responding. (goldenmotor.com's sales guy didn't get back to me when I asked him how I can order by e-mail, which is the only way to order their rear wheel kit.)

today I finally placed the orders! I went on E-bay and, to my surprise, found a seller offering a LiFe pack with charger at a good price. Battery is 8 lbs, expected life 1000+ cycles, 24V 10Ah (240 watt hour), price I paid was $330 shipped.

I also ordered a 500w motor, the kind being sold by cyclone-usa.com which drives the motor through the bike's chain and mounts under the back of the bottom bracket.

I'm very excited!

the cyclone-usa dealer seems to be out of stock on most items. However, you can also purchase the same kit from cyclone-tw.com.
