...Santa Cruz kicks a$$! Yes, this is an actual "bottle opener". It is part of the frame. Serious, it is. This is a Santa Cruz Heckler:

A lot of companies do that! I just recently saw some chain tensioners that doubled as bottle openers, but can't remember where.
I just use the strike plate on the tailgate of my truck for any post ride beverages. Works well!
You're too young to drink anyways Troie!

You are still in nappies (diapers (sp?))! Therefore, you are definitely too young to drink.:D

Thank god I live in Canada. Figure a 2-4 year grace period for drinking and I really was a kid when I had my first drink. Waiting till 21 would have been impossible and incredibly boring. Thank god for 19 year old drinking laws. :)
Hey bokkie when do you officially get out diapers. :)

Yeah, you guys in Canada and the UK have good beer. We have to protect the young ones over here til their taste buds mature a little. If they start drinking too young, there is no telling what noxious substance they will think is good beer (think Miller or Bud). I must say though, lately with the microbrew trend, we are starting to see some good domestics.

Many start drinking when they reach 10, start smoking when they are 11, start shagging when they are 12, no wonder they are bored by the time they reach 18! I live in Crawley, one of the most awful names for a place in the UK, and that by another name would be called a cesspit!:D

Buzzbomb, I don't know what planet you live on but if they offer flights there for vacation, I want in...
"...UK have good beer..." maybe you should have said "...UK have beer...". I've had my share of pots over the years. The UK stuff is somewhat curious and the stuff that comes from the main breweries is linked to the brewery urinal, so recycling is well managed.
Some of the small independent breweries can produce nice ales, but I'm a lager man myself and I prefer the authentic european lagers. Germany did one thing very well when they passed their 1516 purity laws.
We get some real sh1te beers and lagers here but you'll find that anywhere you go to in the world.
It was an act of parliament passed that year and it set down minimum standards that all brewers had to meet. It is mostly concerned with the ingredients used in the beer, such as the hops, strinas of yeast, and quality of water used. It also lays down the temperatures that particular types of beer must be laid down at, how they are stored. They got it right in Germany in 1516, and it shows that their dedication and excellence in the brewers art has meant the law has remained unchanged since that time. If you ever wondered why German lagers are of such excellent quality, now you know why.

The year that they limited beer's ingredients - it ensured German beers have no nasty additives but arguably stifled creativeness - many of the great Belgian beers couldn't be brewed in Germany.
I prefer top fermented beers to bottom fermented but I'm willing to try anything (well almost)
I'd forgotten that the Belgians make very good beer as well. I've only known them for their very good chocolate, which is arguably, the best in the world. But then again, only the brits can make something as good as ice cold Guiness and Snickers chocolate.

I think the Irish might be a little cross with your assertion over Guinness :) The Irish make the finest stout I've tasted...
I prefer many of the American lagers to the rubbish produced in the UK - Sam Adams Boston Lager isn't bad, although why anyone would name a brewery after someone who was basically a tax dodger and rabble rouser I don't know ;)
