I was recently watching my favourite Extreme Sports program when they had a segment on snowboarding. When one of the boarders was in mid air on the half pipe, i couldnt help but notice that the board had 'Santa Cruz' written on it in the special logo font.

Now, do Santa Cruz make snowboards as well as bikes or has some mountain biker turned snowboarder stuck a santa cruz sticker on his board?:confused:

Santa cruz is really two companies. A board company and a bike company owned and operated by different people. Santa Cruz bikes, the owner, used the name because he rode (skateboards) for the board company a long time ago. But in reality they have no connection.

Unless of course the boarder you have mentioned in particular likes santa cruz bikes and uses their logo ;)
