The big question now is; what color to paint it? Keep the rack on the back or remove it? What components to outfit the frame?

The one from La Mesa, right?
I saw it on both San Diego Craigslist and Ebay. Those forks are not original. There may be chrome on the lugs underneath the paint, but they likely painted over it because it was bad.

Incedentally, I don't believe it was mentioned, but did anyone catch the seattube decals? It uses the World Championship stripes - not the Olympic Rings logo as would have been used in '70.

Oh yeah, I dropped out of that one when it went south. This frame was advertised locally on Craigslist. I think he wanted better than $400 for it.
