I am trying to make a change and get rid of my car and keep only my wife's..
So on days like today when it is pouring and I refuse to ride my bike, I would like to take the bus.
I looked at the schedule and routes.... but it really looks like a foreign language to me.
Does any one understand it? I am I just not to bright as to understand the buss system.
If anyone is a rider out there... I am trying to get from hulen, around arlington heights high, to berry and hemphill. Let me know if you can help me. Thanks

I just want to know how many 'wifes' you have.

Actually it's not that hard - just takes a little getting used to it.

From your start: catch the bus on Hulen, going north to Camp Bowie. Get a transfer, or if you're coming back by bus, it's simpler to get a day pass. ($3 - tell the driver what you're doing before you put your money in. You have to have the correct change. They give you a card which you can just slide through the reader when you transfer.)

At Camp Bowie, get off and transfer to the Number 2 going east (toward downtown. The number 2 runs every fifteen minutes on weekdays, so you shouldn't have to wait long, if at all.

Go all the way downtown to the ITC and transfer to the number 1 (Hemphill) bus, going south, which will take you to Berry and Hemphill. Check to make sure it's the number 1 going south, not north. All buses leave the ITC at :15 and :45 after the hour.

It won't be a fast trip, but the transfers are easy.

Hope this helps!

that does help a lot. I plan on selling my car after the first and going totally bike and public transport,
we will have one car that my wife uses daily.
