Just completed my second ride across North America. Last summer I rode from Everett, WA, to Washington, DC, 3500 miles in seven weeks with a group of adults. This year I rode with the Catalysts of HOPE, Michele and three of her children - Tala, 12 Grace & Willow, 2-yr-old twins - 4500 miles from Portland, OR to Washington, DC, via Santa Barbara, CA, New Orleans, LA, and St Louis, MO. We spent six months on the road. The girls flew back to Oregon this morning. I'm riding on to Georgia as soon as I complete some bike repairs.

Hello Vernon, good luck to you.

What are your future plans (other than riding to Georgia)?

Welcome to BF!

Oh, you know... Organize a nonviolent revolution and help write a new Constitution for North America...little stuff I can fit in between bike rides.

Something like, 'What if there was a velorution and no one came?"

Good luck with the Constitution rewriting :) .

But definitely don't forget to do the bike rides.

I've ridden about 8000 miles since Aug '06 and don't plan to stop, m'dear. I live on my bike now.

I see that...I can only wish that more people would listen.
