How can you miss that century ride? THAT ride marks an anniversary! :D

Ah yes. The anniversary of the footsies photo with the "Super Swami." :p

Wish we could make it but we have lots 'o kids that weekend and with all of our events next year, we're saving up on the childcare favors.

We met last year on the Burrito Ride and well...here we are today, almost a year later.

Anymore where he came from? Hmm...well those who know George will agree that he's pretty unique, but if you ask nicely, I might be willing to share him. ;):p <~~~his coaching, of course. :D

Coaching, coaching...hmmm...is that anything like that training thing I keep hearing about?

I know nothing of that...

Well, when I met George I thought he was very polite and encouraging while we chatted about cycling stuff. Since you've kicked the crap out of most the riders here Brandy, I'd have to say it's one of the jealous ones!........ Me? I'm not jealous, I like getting the crap kicked out of me!:D

Um Alice, just so you know... Brandy doesn't kick anything.

She embarrasses. Give that gal 200 miles + a couple of alpine mountains and you will see a bunch of grown men crying in her wake. ;)

She embarrassed most of us on Breathless Agony! Well, those that were willing to even attempt the ride. I was one of them but I'm working on it!..........:p

Not to be sidetracked by deceitful screen names, sock puppets and thoughts of sharing George, ;), I can do this ride if it is on the 15th. Anybody?

I had to double check my calendar, I forgot when my company holiday party was. Looks like the 15th works well for me though, so I'll start a new thread. Hopefully we can get a good turnout this time. :)

How was the ride?

The girls ride did go on...technically. :p It was just Tiff and myself and we did a short 30 miler down to Laguna and back and that felt like 100 thanks to my saddle issues. I had been riding an Arione on the Fixed Gear and put about 87 miles on it between Thurs/Fri and I was miserable! Those saddles just aren't friendly for girly parts! I switched to a Damselfly before Tiff and I rolled on Saturday, but at that point the damage had been done and I was hurting the whole ride. :(

See what you get for asking? :p

Seriously, have you ever tried a wider saddle? On the last bike I owned (which was stolen!), I installed a "comfort" saddle, which was a shade wider and included additional sit bone cushion. Maybe it was a ladies saddle, I didn't ask. I loved it! Probably gonna buy another one at some point for my new bike.

Sometimes a "wider" saddle can hurt the girlie bits worse that a narrower saddle. Brandy is smaller in the bottom region and she may just need a women's specific saddle that works for her. I love the one on my trek, but it's not the best made out there.

P.S I'm glad Brandy's ladies ride was semi-cancelled....now I can attend it.

Okay, Asia, is it true? Dec. 15 (I think). :D
