Has anyone ever come across a study on aerodynamics for clip-on vs. one piece aero bars? I am interested to see the difference between similar clip-on versions of one piece bars.

You may want to check out OvalConcepts.com. John Cobb, the aerodynamics guru, is involved in the creation of those products. There may be some info on the product site. Or you may just do a search on John Cobb. I remember reading an article not to long ago about wind tunnel testing he performed that had some amazing info just on water bottle cages and placement.

Being the techno weenie type I've seen just about everything I can on bicycle aerodynamics and I've never seen a study that compared clip ons to "one-piece" bars. Here are some links to check out;

http://www.timetrial.org/aerodynamics.htm (has a bunch of links to various articles/studies/etc)
http://www.bicyclesports.com/tech/ (John Cobb's bike shop, some good tech articles as well)
http://www.analyticcycling.com/RiderAeroStudy.html (Good aero study talking about everything from handlebars to water bottles)

I assume you are talking about using a clip-on bar + drop bars vs the one piece setup (instead of an clip-on + cow horn)? I imagine it's a mix of weight and a small aero advantage to use a cow horn style over a drop bar.
